Danke Dir mesiplus...wir sahen ziemlich viele davon, aber eswar schwierig, sie auf's Bild zu bannen.
Diesen hier machte ich im Vorrüberfahren aus dem Kajak und freute mich riesig, dass ereinigermassen erkennbar ist ;-))

Die sind nicht so extrem selten... allerdings sind sie auch ziemlich scheu.
Auch wenn das der verbreiteten Vorstellung widersprechen mag - auf Müllkippen sollen sie oft anzutreffen sein, wie hierzulande Möwen etwa...

I saw a number of bald eagles in Yellowstone. They are incredible birds. I also saw an osprey (fish hawk) carrying a trout away from a river. You got a lot closer to the eagle than I did, though.

I was so happy to see this birds, they are beautiful and amazing. But I guess it was the zoom of my camera which get close .o)
