Even though I did not create this lighting situation, I am happy to be able to share this with you. I hope it fits into our "Selective Lighting" challenge for this week. :-)

The Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City is a beautiful collection of artful displays of Western culture. Some of the displays include saddlery, framed art, statues (some bronze - some not) a Western town, stagecoaches, a rodeo arena, memorabilia from movie stars from western movies and their stage sets, and anything else from that time period that helped to form this great country of ours ............. including Abraham Lincoln.

I took a number of shots of this statue; but found that I like the angle and shadow detail of this one the best.

Great idea to use something which had the lighting already there and it resulted in a super shot too.

Carole, I am going off line for part of the afternoon. I will get a message to you about inserting a pic in the note box ... it's now difficult but I just don't have the time right now. :( Be back to you soon. (later this afternoon!) x Chris
