Mysteriously nice ! A great landscape and a very special mood, Carol !

Thank you Roger. The atmosphere is part of the magic of the place though isn't it? The dramatic scale of the landscape is magnificent and when you add in the mist and low cloud it makes it look ancient and mystical somehow

I have enjoyed this landscape in many different moods, - in perfect sunshine, in torrential rain with water puring down the mountains in waterfalls and in mysterious misty moods like this but for me Glen Coe is awesome and beautiful, and ever magical in all of them. You must be able to tell it is one of my favourite places!!

You're right, Carol, the weather looks like I imagine Scottish weather, but this landscape is really tremendous. Are you able to pronounce the Scottish names?;-))

Thank you very much Christa. Yes it is often like this but I have seen it in glorious sunshine too. I like the misy mood - it suits the landscape somehow, - dramatic and mystical.
The Scottish names - well I have a go at them but have no idea if I am saying them correctly!!! They often sound nothing like the way you would expect them to!!

A beautifully composed shot of this wonderful landscape Carol. I love the atmosphere and the typical colours of the Highlands at this time of year. The silvery sheen on the water completes a wonderful example of great landscape photography.

Thank you very much Doug. As you probably know it is one of my favourite places and I like the misty mood - it gives the places a wonderful timeless and mysterious feel and the landscape never failes to amaze me.

This was taken from the litttle bridge near the bottom - it tends to get really busy further up which is a shame, but I guess everyone wants to take photos of the scenery
