Great all round shot Carol, strange as it seems they bought some of these cattle into Thetford Forest for some reason a few years ago, not sure if they are there now but at the time I would walk there with the dog and got some scary looks from these beasts.

Good evening and many thanks Maurice. Really appreciated. It seems that there are a number of places that now have some Highland cows but it is strange to think of them anywhere else but Scotland. I am sure they are very gentle and they are just curious but I wouldn't argue with those horns!

Good all round shot Carol, fore some reason a few years ago they introduced some highland cattle into Theford Forest, not sure if they are still there now but at that time I would walk the dog there and used to get quiet uncomfortable when walking past these beasts who eyed every step I took.

I have a healthy respect for the mother protecting her young - and I may be a coward - but I am a safe coward!! These Highland cows are really very big and I wouldn't risk getting close to those horns!!
