Summer colours - Sommerfarben - mit PiP

Zur Zeit steht bei mir ein Notocactus spec., d.h. ein Kaktus der Gattung Notocactus einer mir unbekannter Art, in voller Blüte. Im Bild ein Blick in die wunderschöne gelbe Blüte mit rotem Stempel und vielen kreisförmig angeordneten Staubblättern.
Der Kaktus stammt aus einer Kakteensammlung, welche ich schon vor ca. 40 Jahren aufgebaut habe. Die Exemplare der Sammlung werden im Winter im kühlen Keller mit ganz wenig Gießen überwintert und im Sommer auf dem Balkon aufgestellt.
Eine Erfahrung, die ich beim Fotografieren von gelb glänzenden Blüten gemacht habe. Nie in der prallen Sonne ablichten, weil die meisten solchen Blüten reflektierende Wachsschichten besitzen, welche zu weißen Flecken im Bild führen. Also besser die Pflanze in den Halbschatten stellen, oder abwarten, bis die Sonne etwas mit Wolken verdeckt ist.

At the moment I have a Notocactus spec. in full bloom, i.e. a cactus of the genus Notocactus of a species unknown to me. In the picture a view into the beautiful yellow flower with red pistil and many stamens arranged in a circle.
The cactus is part of a cactus collection, which I have started about 40 years ago. The specimens of the collection are overwintered in a cool cellar with very little watering and in the summer they are placed on the balcony.
One experience I made when photographing yellow shiny flowers. Never photograph in full sun, because most such flowers have reflective wax layers, which cause white spots in the picture. Better you put the plant in partial shade, or wait until the sun is somewhat covered with clouds.
