Sehr schöne Winterszene, cammino. Den Trend kann ich wegen der Einschränkungen auch bei uns beobachten.

Irgendwie sehr melancholisch, dein Blick. Und ein Dokument vom Alltag in diesen seltsamen Zeiten. Die Natur bleibt ein Rückzugsort für alle, die den vier Wänden zumindest kurzfristig mal entfliehen wollen.

Ich glaube, du hast recht. Sogar die kleinen Freiheiten, die im Moment noch bleiben, machen nicht so richtig Freude. Und die Nachrichten über die neue(n) Mutante(n) verheißen nichts Gutes. In meinem Bekannten- und Verwandtenkreis sind schon seit längerem immer wieder Corona-Erkrankungen, zum Glück mit nicht ganz so ausgeprägten starken Symptomen. Aber wir sollten nicht den verzweifeln oder in eine Depression verfallen, sondern hoffen, dass alles gut wird!

Vor allem die südafrikansche Mutation, gegen die die Vakzine nicht mehr voll wirken...

Diese Nachricht habe ich gestern auch gelesen. Das wird eine ganz große Herausforderung. Die Covid-Pandemie wird nicht so schnell besiegt sein, wie viele glauben und hoffen ...

What a lovely, expansive image to enjoy. Love the composition and the view from where you stand. I think it's so interesting how active people became when it had been taken away from them. Now people are much more active, or at least they have been...I don't know if folks in the US are still reacting positively like the people here.

The dusting of snow is just beautiful! I wonder if it stuck for long?! We may have snow later this week but I bet it won't materialize in the end. Crossing my fingers though!

Hi Janet, thank you so much for your comment. The vast majority of people in Germany are currently following the measures ordered by the government, so the Corona numbers here are not as high, though not as low as expected. That is why, in my observation, people's patience is clearly waning here and the call for more freedom is getting louder. The virus has Europe firmly in its grip until the vaccinations take effect. But that will still take months.

Hey! Thanks for the comment! I am fascinated to learn from folks I know, how it is where you live. Yes, the patience is running very thin these days. It's very frustrating for people who simply cannot get out. Steve and I have been incredibly blessed and lucky that we found a way to travel and stay safe--it's been an indescribably good fortune that we wish we could share. I'm glad that Germany is faring better with virus numbers and yet, all it takes are some stupid people to throw everything in the air again. Crossing my fingers that all goes well and numbers continue to fall.

New situation in Germany as well as in the rest of Europe: There is not enough vaccine. Now the discussions are starting about who is to blame for this unfortunate situation, because many (especially senior citizens) are afraid of not getting the vaccine in time. Too bad, too bad ...

het beste kun je nog binnen blijven zeker nu er 8 van de 10 mensen besmet kunnen zijn

men is hier in NL Bang dat het vaccin NIET helpt tegen het Zuid-Afrikaanse Mutant -als dat zo is kunnen we nog een jaar wachten op een nieuw vaccin -ondertussen duurt de pandemie voort, en komen we in de buurt van de middeleeuwse pandemieén en wordt de mensheid gehalveerd
