Im Kameruner Moor - In the Cameroon Bog - HFF - PiP

Ganz in der Nähe von Waren befindet sich das Kameruner Moor, eine Moorlandschaft, durch die ein langer Holzsteg führt und von dem aus eine Vielfalt von Pflanzen und Tieren bestaunt werden kann. Der seltsame Name stammt wohl aus der Kolonialzeit, in der Kamerun eine deutsche Kolonie war. Und was die Dame auf dem Holzsteg fotografiert zeigt das PiP, nämlich einen stattlichen Stockenten-Erpel!

Very close to Waren is the Cameroon Moor, a moor landscape through which a long wooden footbridge leads and from which a variety of plants and animals can be admired. The strange name probably originates from the colonial times, when Cameroon was a German colony. And the PiP shows what the lady on the wooden jetty is photographing, namely a stately mallard drake!
