Die Kirche Sant’ Anastasia in Verona ist ein wunderschönes Beispiel der italienischen Gotik. Mit dem Bau dieser Kirche wurde 1290 nach dem Entwurf der Architekten und Dominikanermönche Fra Benvenuto da Bologna und Fra Nicolò d’Imola begonnen. In römischer Zeit endete hier die Via Postumia, der ostgotische König Theoderich errichtete zwei kleine Kirchen, die eine wurde der hl. Anastasia, die andere dem hl. Remigio geweiht.
