I adore foggy landscapes! This picture embraces what I love about it...the mysterious quality, the peace and serenity, the loneliness, but the privateness too. I used to do a not so smart thing as a younger lady of late teen years and would go running in the lovely resident streets of San Francisco...at 1-2am!! I loved the mist that cloaked me...the cool moist air swirled around me as I ran and kept me safe, hidden from danger. But...in later years I realized...my confidence at being protected by the fog might have gone the other way too if I had happened upon a stranger with bad intentions. Still, fog is beloved to me! Thanks for this awesome shot and the wonderful memories it has evoked.

Hello Janet, I'm very happy that my picture has awakened old memories in you. I myself have not only positive experiences with fog. During a hike in France my wife and I were surprised by a very dense fog, so that we were completely disoriented and also anxious. Only when the sun was again there and the fog had moved, we could orient ourselves again and it went on again.

I love fog and I find this image beautifully sad and poetic.

... I look forward to fog weather every year, because I like to do a photo tour in such weather to capture mist pictures

Ce brouillard, ces arbres un peu morts me donnent un sentiment de tristesse mais que j'aime le coté mystérieux de l'image !

... auf dem Rückweg war der starke Nebel in dieser Ecke schon aufgelöst und die Welt dort sah wieder ganz "normal" aus ...
