Need an ID, pretty sure this is similar to the one I couldn't ID from the patio life last year.
Update: thank you to Alby for the ID on this guy, now to find where my paito one is in the mess of photos I have moved...hahaha

This is just a lovely fly, I saw a few of them. Even had one at the moth trap recently.

And keeping with the 'need id' theme we have this lovely fuzzy fly, quite large compared to the hoverflies I see that look similar, so I don't know.

I've got a few photos of Helphilus pendulus (Sunfly) but this guy just looks not the same to me so I don't know, thought maybe another Helophilus sp. Opinions welcome :)
Thanks to Roger for help deciding ID, Helophilus trivittatus looks spot on.

Xanthogramma pedissequum Came to visit us on the balcony. Had noticed a lovely shot of one of these from Afterforty and a few days later he showed up:)
