Titanwurz (Amorphophallus titanum) 


Im botanischen Garten in Bonn ( www.botgard.uni-bonn.de ) blüht wieder der Titanwurz.
(Irgendwie hätte ich noch einen Maßstab ins Bild bringen sollen.)

Da ist er ja....hab heute in der Zeitung davon gelesen. U.a. dass er nachts entsetzlich nach Verwesung stinken soll.

Wen man tags hineingeht, dann riecht es leicht nach Verwesung. Man gewöhnt sich aber schnell daran. Wie es Nachts ist kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Der Geruch war gar nicht schlimm. Mir wurde er erst bewusst, als mich meien Frau am Abend danach fragte.
