Glasgow 812 heads back to Town End

Glasgow 812 heads back to Town End
Glasgow 812 is a 'Standard' car built in 1900 as an open top tram. It was progressively 'improved' with the fitting of a top cover around 1910 and enclosed platforms 2 or 3 years later.

It is seen during the 1980 Grand Transport Extravaganza at Crich heading back to the Town End terminus. At the time the quarry next to the museum was operational.

In the background is a Paris bus owned by Robert E Jowitt running a shuttle between the car park and the 'Flea Market ' area.
