Boat docked at DeTour
We took a car ferry from the village of DeTour to spend a day on Drummond Island, which is off the east end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It is one of the largest islands in Lake Huron with 87,000 acres, 150 miles of rugged scenic shoreline, 133 square miles of forested lanscape, and 34 inland lakes.
