Well, this is some of the hottest liquorice you can find. :)
We like that hot taste, as do Scandinavians. Germans are a little more into sweet. Just like the French, the Belgians and many others.
I was surprised to find this in a German gas station at all.

It's usually sweet over here. Mind you, back in the dim distant past when I was a kid there were these things called Imps. Looked a bit like mouse turds and came in neat little tins about half the size of a credit card. They were tiny little sweets but you couldn't put more than one in your mouth at the same time...
