I took this picture a few weeks ago because I needed an image to illustrate the possibility of adding a watermark right through an image that wasn't so intrusive as to ruin viewing of the image.

The picture was taken from the window by my desk. In the early morning sunshine there was a shiny car parked below.

The way you have bent the terrace of houses is exciting. I doubt the value of watermarks. They spoil the essence of sharing your work, yet I suppose if you are a professional and it is your living, you have little choice but to protect your photographs from internet bandits. I am more-or-less resigned to it. I follow a blog by a chap named Lewis Collard and he actively encourages people to use his pictures. He says, 'As my non-copyright notice says: Anyone caught copying any of my photographs or text will be considered a mighty good friend of mine. Which is to say, please go ahead and copy all my stuff, and use it in any way you see fit. No, you don't have to ask permission to paste one of my articles into your blog, set one of my pictures as your wallpaper, use a photo in your school report, or do anything else with any of my stuff. I'd love to hear about any great things you do with my pictures, though.'
