eher eine art lichtschacht. aber da müßte man wahrscheinlich den zuständigen architekten fragen. und letztlich finde ich die definition "auge des himmels" auch besser. für mich reicht sie und es ist schön aus der finsteren tiefe ein stückchen himmel erblicken zu können...

ken, it's only a question of perspective. still, then i would prefer saying "sliding up into the sky" and forget about gravity :)
i named it "eye of the sky" cause this was a connotation i immediately had when i was thinking about what title to choose - and i love playing with words and turning the story a picture is telling into an unexpected direction...
