Aldbury Pond And Village Centre

Aldbury Pond And Village Centre
Aldbury is a quietly famous village. It gained attention during the 1960s when the village was used in an episode of the classic TV series "The Avengers" called 'Dead Mans Treasure'. It is beautifully located in countryside with canals and rivers nearby and the famous Chiltern Hills too. The photo was shot on a Praktica LTL3 using a 35 - 70mm Pentacon lens at 35mm. I used Ilford FP4+ 125 ISO 35mm film and I took the photo in September 2008.

Mihail Antonio Andrei, enge, Albert, Mila and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

The Avengers - I remember seeing those films ... something quite different at that time. Diana Rigg, I think, was the actress...

Yes Klaus she was the famous "Mrs Peel". I think she was the best actress in the series and that the programme was so creative and original. (We have nothing as good today, sadly)
