Ruins of a Cellulose Factory M. in Lower Silesia/Poland. The plant was built in 1911. It produced sulphite cellulose for the production of paper.

Ich hab das auch schon bei einer anderen location gesehen, dort allerdings mehrere, und gerätselt. Schutz für Paintball-Ballerspiele? Ich hab keine Ahnung. Irgendwie unmotiviert ;-)

War zwar "nur" eine Fabrik, aber sie hatten trotzdem gewisse architektonsiche Grundsätze und ästhetische Ansprüche, wie es scheint. Das beweist wieder mal Louis Sullivans Grundsatz "form follows function". :-)

Das war damals ja bei Fabriken nicht unbedingt außergewöhnlich, heutzutage schon eher. Dieses Zementwerk hat wirklich besonders spannende Elemente. Habe mich bemüht, herauszufinden, wer der Architekt war, ist aber offenbar gar nicht so einfach.
