c 'est une littérature de propagande , mais je pense qu' en réalité le choix est beaucoup plus vaste . Le peuple cubain est plutôt cultivé, et les livres des grands auteurs internationaux doivent être lus ; dès l' instant où ils ne critiquent pas le régime en place.

Interestingly there is a lot of self criticism in the official media like the "Granma", for which I have a subscription. But you are right, the regime is very sensitive to "external" critics. For a certain degree it's understandable with all this embargo and subversive actions of US America against Cuba.
