Planta de Níquel Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara - red land
All the landscape around the nickel plants is red, even the roads. This last image shows the factory from the north. To avoid misunderstandings, sure there is a lot of pollution into the air, the groundwater and the river nearby, but most of the red dust is natural and comes from the ferrous earth. You can find red dirt streets also in areas where no factory is around.
