Still a lot of wool in the halls, it seems that the Estancia had been left overnight. This situation here is the same since decades.

I'm still searching for a reasonable source about the history. Some sources say, it was the price collapse of sheep's wool, some other sources say, the Estancia was transformed into a cooperative under Allende and this was the reason, I don't know yet.

Such a shame whatever the reason. The buildings etc seem to be in reasonable condition! I suspect lots of people lost their livelihoods.
