Kilauea Iki is the name given to a lava lake that formed in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in 1959. It erupted from Pu'u Pua'i, the mound you see in the middle distance of this photo.......

du hast mich verunsichert mit deinem neuen nickname, ich blieb ja lange eisern bei mo, aber dann dachte ich, ich will ja nicht ignorant wirken..........und unterirdisch, weil die lava ja aus den tiefen der erde kommt ;-)

Du kramst da ja in Uraltarchiven ;-) Das Dia ist von 1989 und ja, das war ein Erlebnis, weil der Kilauea gerade ausgebrochen war und man ganz nah an die Lavaströme konnte
