Souda bay
Hi, my friends, back from Crete. This view is from the north coast, from Malaxa down to Souda bay east of Chania. Don't expect too much beautiful landscapes and beaches, but also a lot of rusty abandoned stuff ;-)) I love western Crete and the old mountain villages there, and it's cold like winter here back in Austria :-(

So arid. Plants can withstand amazing extremes. It must have been cooler up here on the hill.

Yes, especially now in late summer it's very dry. It's much cooler in the higher mountains, but not on this hill - above 30 degrees that day, but not so bad.
