early cleaning

Was für eine marode Szene...super..mag das Licht und die Farbtupfer auf den Balkonen...die verblassten Farben der Häuser und den Herrn, der so selbstvergessen schaut, ob noch was zu
retten ist. Super....als Frau allein dort wohl nicht so ratsam oder irre ich mich auch hier?

Wonderful shot, but I feel very sad for the Cuban people, why do those that govern the country, allow it to become in such a poor state, it needs a lot more than just a coat of paint.

Cuba suffers from a almost 60 years lasting embargo, the US government even forbid foreign companies from other countries to trade with Cuba. That's the main point. The second is: Look at Mexico, Haiti, Venezuela, Columbia, Nicaragua, Guatemala etc. etc. Compared to all these latin amercan countries Cubans live in a paradise. The third point is, that of course the photographer is attracted by such semi-abandoned areas, which does not mean, that whole Havana looks like this. I'm often concerned about posting so much photos of abandoned places bacause it makes a wrong picture about the overall situation. Thanks John!

The textures and colors here are a major part of my interest in what the world looks like. Which is to say, this is a heck of a photograph.

But however the world looks like, with this warm morning light it should give you a little feeling how it could be, ...thanks Smiley!
