Edificio López Serrano

Edificio López Serrano
One of the most beautiful and intersting Art Deco buildings in Havana (and you can find many) is the Edificio López Serrano (1932, more details later). 'Normal' people live there, unfortunately it looks semi abandoned, if you look closer, but it's still very beautiful inside too. Photo was taken from FOCSA building.

Das ist wirklich ein spannendes Gebäude! Hoffentlich wird es nicht irgendwann luxussaniert.

Werde dann noch was aus der Nähe und vom Inneren posten. Leider verfällt es immer mehr, eine Sanierung kostet da natürlich immenses Geld. Luxussaniert wird es sicher nicht, wie gesagt, da wohnen ganz normale kubanische Familien drin. Ursprünglich waren es (vor der Revolution) allerdings wirklich Luxuswohnungen. Es gibt sogar Videos im Netz vom Bau und der Werbung zum Verkauf, auch vom jetztigen Zustand, z.B.
