The walls of the post office in Ushuaia are painted with prisoners as a memory to some of the first inhabitants........and also native indians (PiP), which were treated most cruel by european immigrants.

Erhard Bernstein, Jürgen N, Miordan, ME. and 11 other people have particularly liked this photo

I like this one -- easier viewing than the PIP -- and I like the artistry of this one. However, both murals would leave me disinclined to collect my mail on a regular basis . . .

Argentina has great street artists indeed. I imagine most of all people visiting this will not get any emotions or thoughts about the content.......

An das Postamt erinnere ich mich gut- beide Fotos sind klasse! Ja, jetzt machen sie ein Riesen-Tamtam um die Yamana, Alakaluf... und vorher haben sie sie ausgerottet.

A great emotion to imagine what the natives(autochthons) underwent.. What a shame!
