A Mountain Avens (Dryas octopetala) , which exists at altitudes between 1,200 and 2,500m. The special thing about this alpine flower is that it attaches loose scree with its taproots and thus protects against erosion. ~~~~~ Ein weißer Silberwurz (Dryas octopetala) , der in Lagen zwischen 1.200 bis 2.500m vorkommt. Das Besondere an dieser Alpenblume ist, dass sie mit ihren Pfahlwurzeln loses Geröll befestigt und so vor Erosionen schützt.
