Currently unusual to see people sitting so close together, but a beautiful sight.

Die Finnen gehen mit der Pandemie mittlerweile ziemlich gelassen um. Denn 65% der Bevölkerung hat bereits eine Erstimpfung, und die Lage in den Krankenhäusern ist sehr entspannt. Die COVID-19 bedingte Todesrate pro 1 Million Einwohner ist vergkeichsweise niedrig:

Consistent and above all early action without hysteria and based on facts rather than speculation pays off. A plus for the Finns may actually also be their mentality.

Sadly here in the USA the vaccination figure remains stuck at 48.8% and our relaxed approach is already having deadly consequences. :( Here in NY, a blue state with a higher vaccination percentage, the relaxed atmosphere continues although cases are rising. Stay well and enjoy your holiday!

Hier in Tirol hat sich meine Frau gestern ihre zweite Impung abgeholt.
Selbstverständlich aus der Haltung einer moralischen Verpfichtung gegenüber der Gesellschaft, aber auch, weil die PCR-Tests bei Reisen das Budget unnötig belasten.

In Tirol sind bisher 58% erstimmunisiert, 46% vollimunisiert. Es ist auch hier noch viel Luft nach oben.
