There is a decline there, it's true. The negative that you use, if I am not mistaken, obscures the horizon and our future. You are right to underline and to dramatise it. But also to leave a glimmer of hope, like a way out. There is still time....
But I am afraid I am extrapolating too much!, perhaps missing the simple and pure beauty, also tragic, of your superb painting. My incorrigible subjectivity...! ;-) And your definitive insight and ability to express it with such a pervasive graphic eloquence...
Have a nice weekend my friend (priceless, need I say it?)
Ti abbraccio forte forte.
Bea
And I'm not , absolutely, optimistic dreamer in the depths of my soul.
I'm not a dreamer, at all.
But I still believe in clear water and silence, as soon as I can still find them- And, so far, I've been still able to.
Not in that case, of course.
But, let me say, there I found a sort of 'beauty', a damned one, sure.
Non so davvero come spiegarlo.
grazie Jose.
As always ! with great interest and emotion I was delighted by your beautiful commentary.
Evidently, your observations, your reading that you say dictated by your ' incorrigible subjectivity' ;-), are precious to me.
Indeed you have 'read' in this drought, certainly the representation of one of the many catastrophic climatic events that are happening.
At the same time, however, you have also read, yes, my (perhaps foolish I say to myself!) optimism for the future of mankind.
Certainly we are no longer in the days of King Arthur's Wasted Land and certainly a Holy Grail will not be enough to save our world. :-)
But I WANT to believe in these, even if late, consciousness raising and attempts to get to stop, at least STOP, the total disaster.
I always thank you very very much.
My grateful and truly affectionate regards.
Bea
