Barçalunacy:

You have some great new photos posted! ....and this one is a real whodunwhat.
[ whodunwhat: n. hōō-dŭn-wŭt 1. a mystery who’s primary question is who did what?
Also see: whodunit, and whydeydidit ]

I have a theory: In the case of the woman on the right, I believe it was something she ate, but in the case of the woman on the left it was clearly something she saw. It was YOU barçalunacy. And with that fancy camera of yours what she thought she saw was either a paparazzi, or a professional detective. Now if she isn’t somebody famous (and she probably isn’t) then she must have been thinking “holy carp, there’s a private detective taking my photo!” Now look at her face and tell me, do you think that’s her husband she’s sitting with? Well, call me cynical, but I have to wonder. Hmmmmmm?

My alternate theory is: The soup de jour is sour pickle chowder.

Moody,

My gosh, oh my, oh my ... your study of this photo is far longer than the time it took me to take it.

Having said that (a true American expression) I say that you are correct on both counts.

The woman on the left is uptight, fidgety and self-conscious. She is dining with a man who does not show himself. Need I say more?! HMMMMM???

The woman on the right is strong and forthright. She eyes me with complete confidence.

You have to be confident to wear a red rose such as that one.

Anyway, I hope I've clarified some and I thank you for your studious insight in what might have been a mundane photo.

We both seem to have a similar problem: when we point a lens at people, they just WON'T mind their own business and they STARE so hard that one day they'll melt our lenses!

People! YUCK!
