1989 VW Golf GTI Mk2 - G361 HWU

1989 VW Golf GTI Mk2 - G361 HWU
Off and running then ... time to start another album showcasing another of the many car shows I've attended over the years.

Staged within the grounds of Tatton Park on the outskirts of Knutsford, VW North West is one of the best VW related events to be staged in the UK as I hope my photos will show.

First to be uploaded from when I visited it in 2011 is this very tidy looking Mk2 Golf, which I think must be from the North of England as I've also come across it at some of the smaller local shows in recent years.

Nacer H, , Clyde Sostand and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Cracking pair of shots mate.................and a lovely pair of classic old VWs. I like this one the best, simply because of the black livery with the red trim, and the wheels are much better!

Thanks Keith and I'm probably with you on the wheels. BBS as seen on this one always look good on the Golf whereas the steel G60 wheels on the other are probably a better winter wheel ... that's assuming you'd ever want to take them out on salty roads! ;)
