AK 427 Cobra Replica - ACC 828A

AK 427 Cobra Replica - ACC 828A
The AC Cobra, sold as the Ford/Shelby AC Cobra in the United States and often known colloquially as the Shelby Cobra in that country, was an American-engined British sports car produced intermittently since 1962.

Over the years there have been many replicas and although I can't find any official records to confirm this isn't original, I think it's highly unlikely. In fact, I've seen other photos of it online which refer to it as an AK 427 so I'm going with that unless anyone out there knows any different.

Thanks Valerie, glad you like it ... I think this shot shows off the colour much better than the one I took of the whole car! :)

Great photo Paul! The car was an AC Ace originally and it didn't become a Cobra until Shelby put that first 289 in it. The reason it's known as a Shelby Cobra here. Neat find and photo. Lots of replicas here with a few of them actually built in the Shelby shop using unused VINs from the original run. Expensive car when it was new!

Great shot, Paul. You caught only a part of the car - but a very powerful expression!!
