I don't like to be too critical of someone else's car as it wouldn't do if we were all the same.

However, I have to say for me personally this is a case where less would have been more!

Delirium, , Indycaver (Norm), have particularly liked this photo

Thanks for your comment Rod and the interesting story. I always like it when one of my photos brings back fond memories for those that take time to visit.

Kind of reminds of the days when they had they had stick on wide whitewalls! :-) I agree ... less is more!

Don't remember stick on whitewalls, but I guess they were like 'go-faster' stripes much favoured by boy racers everywhere, at least in the UK.

Having said that, it isn't our car and the owner must like it that way, so it's probably not fair to be too critical ... I mean maybe he's just trying to pay homage to its racing pedigree.

Don't know, but at least he's doing his own thing and the car's clean, tidy and being well looked after. Like you've said before Norm if we're not careful we could all be running around in a silver Honda! ;)

Oh the stick on wide whitewalls were a phase like the hot wheel look is today. They were made of plastic and would shrink and get a rippled look about them. Mostly only showed up on pimp mobiles.

Yeah ... I can appreciate the work someone puts into a vehicle ... even if it's not to my taste. I put mud flaps on my first new car, but found they caused more rust than they prevented and I haven't used them since. I must have not been the only one with that opinion ... I don't see them in the auto parts store anymore!
