now that the API is there it should be possible to integrate ipernity here at friendfeed, right? will try to see what i can do (talk to them) not sure if the team did already.

I'm in the same trouble about integrating ipernity into friendfeed. Even the RSS of the ipernity images stream does not seem to be recognized by friendfeed :( (using the import "blog / rss" service part)
It's strange because MediaRSS is supposed to be supported by friendfeed :(

I've checked also any hint at www.ipernity.com/group/unofficialgroup/discuss because there's no discussion dedicated to friendfeed....
