I've added my 2¢ too, but I must say that the poll is not realistic.
Namely, the 2nd question is irrelevant to the 1st. The translations are made by volunteers and not by the ipernity programmers (other than implementing them - however intensive this may be, it is by very far not as time consuming as adding a new feature), so translating doesn't slurp up their real (creative) work.
On the other side I find it culturally refreshing to avoid the Einheitswurst. It is a statement perfectly in line with a really international community. (But of course I'm biased ;-)

yes you're right, i did some of the german translation here myself - but i still believe a lot of work (organizing all this etc) is done by the team itself, still that is a good point you're mentioning.

well, would then the question have been about the multilingual edition, or the speed of implementing things off the wish list?
I think that the team is very busy with the second. They had two ad's about employing 2 new programmers and... (don't forget!) some people of the team got a baby!!!

yes i know, like i said, this is nothing against the team at all. i love them all, i was just curious about priorities and more important the opinion of the users. i personally don't think more languages will bring masses of new users, but it could make existing users happier. THAT indeed is important.
i was not out for a fight or something, just a discussion and a little insight into the users' opinon, but the participation is too low to be representative i think.
