this is part of the mindbits logo i created a while ago. the upper logos look the same but when you look at the vectorlines you can see the difference. sometimes when you want to print logos on a shirt or plot them (some kind of sign or plate for the frontdoor is going to be produced in this case) you need to clean up the lines and surfaces so that no lines overlap. On the lower right you can see what the layout looked like before. It was okay for screen use but probably won't be for printing. So i manually cleaned it up in Macromedia/Adobe Freehand (could have used Illustrator as well) and you can see the result on the left side. delete unnecessary lines and join some areas. there you go.
