I wonder if Cage could have anticipated this piece being played and viewed online ? I was sitting watching and listening to silence with the sounds of the outside world coming through the white noise produced by my headphones....maybe not the best way to experience the sounds of silence, but I suppose the point of the piece is that there is no silence.
