ACCOMMODATION
...and so?...
the sun comes in through the home
the natural heat exempts the heater devices
there are more cars and confined citizens
on the street
they wish the freedom to breathe without a mask
...and so?...
we will make the account for the non-lived months
who is to reimburse us?
we glance through the window
and the light dazzles us
we no longer know what to do
with so much waste of energy
we are used to the gloom
to the uterus of our homes
to the womb of our mothers
...and so?...
why don't we stay there?
ACOMODAÇÃO
...e então?...
entra o sol pela casa dentro
o calor natural dispensa os aquecedores
há mais carros e cidadãos confinados
em plena rua
querem a liberdade de respirar sem máscara
...e então?...
faremos contas aos meses que não vivemos
quem nos vai indemnizar?
olhamos pela janela
e a luz ofusca-nos
já não sabemos o que fazer
com tanto desperdício de energia
estamos habituados à penumbra
ao útero de nossas casas
ao ventre de nossas mães
...e então?...
porque não ficamos lá?

The world outside is so full of choices, responsibilities...other people, confusion...why would you want to go there? We all think we look forward to our freedom, to all the things we will do, the new experiences we will have....but when we take our first steps into the outside world we will find ourselves asking the questions and experiencing the feelings Accommodation evokes so well.
