I wish I can read Portuguese. Translation is no good for poetry. I never found any translated from English to French or French to English thas was satisfying. Even when I tried to translate my own poems from English to French or from French to English, I fell short unless I re-write it in the other language...and even that way, it might work for a short poem.

You are right, Evelyn! However, the English versions of my poems currently shown at my blog are done by myself. That means I try to keep the background music and substance of the texts as they were written directly in English. Maybe you consider this is a presumption of mine. Thanks for your comment!
