Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks

Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks
Taken from the steps of the main entrance of the VA, Fayetteville, Arkansas. We are fortunate to have this wonderful facility - and I can't say enough good for them. Service is excellent +, a caring staff, and prompt service. New facilities, a new parking garage -- a showplace for veterans, such as myself.

Nouchetdu38, Helena Ferreira, Rambonp, d and d 2 and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

Love all the flags, Marvin, and am convinced that this country does not do enough for its veterans. Glad you have a great facility there.

Fortunate indeed, Ron. Wish many other VA systems could say the same thing. But here, I get the best care the government offers. I do not go to "local" doctors, meaning those in my city. And I let the VA know they are appreciated and not taken for granted. We here are truly blessed.

Wow! Them's a whole lotta flags! Any significance to their numbers and/or arrangement? Nicely captured =)

Good question -- I too, wonder about that so will find out and get back with you later. I also can't understand why, if it can happen here, why not in. for example, southern Florida where I just heard they reported rats and roaches in their kitchen. Well I did not intend to kick the hornets nest but let the chips fall where they may.

So many centres are understaffed and they are over worked and the Vets get terrible service as there is no money.

I think maybe less flags and the money spent on the things that actually matter would be a great start.

So glad that at least you have a good place Marvin

Pam, these flags are rarely flown, in fact I can't remember seeing then before, thus the Pix. There must be some special cause -- I'll look into that also if I can. They did, today, cut the ribbon on the opening of a new 4 story parking lot, a great achievement for here. Our service area includes parts of Missouri and Oklahoma. And those folk get travel pay. Yes, we here are very lucky.
