Yup, it's me Applekrisp...I thought you all might like to get a look at who's hosting this group. I am stuffing my face with grapes left unharvested at the vineyard behind our home in Mendocino. Why is it that people always want to take your picture when you are putting food in your mouth?

Hello - lovely to see you and hope the grapes tasted nice. Mendocino is a very small place with such a small amount of people.

We are actually living in the Sierra Foothills now, this was taken a couple years ago. That house has been sold and so we are in the forest now, but I lived so many years in that area that I still feel like that is home. Grew up in Sonoma, and as an adult, lived in Napa Valley for 11 years before moving to Mendocino. There was an amazing pear orchard right next to this vineyard, so when we would go for our walks, we could sample the grapes and the pears! Then on the way back, pick a bucket of juicy plump blackberries at the creek....didn't get much better than that. I miss it. So different over here with all the deer and a totally different climate. Beautiful in a different way.

Hahahahaha it's so true! I take the best pictures of people, making sure they looks their best even when they don't know I'm taking their picture but when it comes to people taking my picture - HA!! Never the most flattering unless I have a chance to "pose"! What a great thing to be able to glean the grapes and pears! I would miss that too. Nice to see a face with the name. I want to get in with that mug swap thing but I just haven't a second to spare. I have to rust just to share photos and briefly visit as many as I can. It sure is hard to just have 24 hours in a day to work with!! hahahaha
