Nowadays rail biking is fashionable, but this model was actually in use for maintenance. It belongs to the Portuguese railroad company. Régua station has a small collection of old cars, steam engines, and those bikes (draisines) that would deserve a place in a railroad museum. Being a terrible tourist (do I consider myself a tourist anyway?), I did not take the historic steam train that follows the Douro river from there...
