The door into another world 

I have always wondered... it must take a very special mindset to decide to join a nunnery and in essence to close the door on the world...

Beautiful gate btw... and I love the "gazebo" (which I'm almost sure it isn't) :o)

I guess it is really a kind of gazebo, but with a stone chalice and a cross inside, they are well seen on the original version.

I saw a very old nun there, she is so old so that she can't walk by herself. I tried to imagine how it is to spend the whole life in selfless service, but for me it's also very difficult to understand...

Wow, really great candid shot... love the fact that she's wearing a vest and holding a purse... and all in the same colour :o)
