43 Pasir Hitam Black Sand Beach

The only place on Langkawi where "Black Sand" occurred. It suggests volcanic activity somewhere nearby, but nothing is on record. This was part of the round island tour the hotel was providing. Not a great demand, but we joined up with a young Malay couple from Penang to make up the tour.
