Very nice picture!

Superb. One of the hardest things in photography I think is the ability to take a picture as expressive and interesting as this one with as few objects as possible. The lines of the backdrop frame and highlight the organic lines and shape of the poppy whose color become the focal point warm and inviting in contrast with the neutral background. Very nicely done.

I could pretend I had all this in mind when composing this photo, but I hadn't. One thing I did intentionally was to put only very few objects in the photo, the rest happened rather unconsciously I guess. But you certainly do have a point here - you put into words why I like this this photo and found it worth posting here. I am impressed.

I love this minimalist shot, the lines...and the "against the grain attitude" in direction and color.
