A great 13 mile cycle from Loch Katrine pier to Stronachlachar took about 1 1/2 hrs. 6 miles were dry then 7 miles of thunderstorms and torrential rain. Great service at the cafe.

True, my attempts at humour might not always hit the mark, but I try to be informative, adding hyperlinks so you can learn about where I live, what I've been doing and what I've been fortunate to see. As I've already documented to no avail - I can no longer see the words below photos. If I was an infant and was only wanting to see the pretty pictures that would be one thing, but so much value is lost on this once great site if the additional educational content is hidden. Myself and so many other Flickr customers have been treated as idiots by the company we employed to provide the service we loved.

Colin the Caterpillar had not been seen for about 3 weeks. Then on 10th October I came home to discover Colin the Caterpillar had metamorphosed into Colin the Moth. I still have no idea what kind of Moth, but then I don't know where the basil came from either. It could be from Mexico or China. Any clues to his identification would be most welcome. Released him on 16th October. Hope he meets a nice sexy Mrs Colin soon.
