Reminds me of William Buckley. I wonder if this gentleman abandoned his marriage for his cigar, as Kipling's character in his poem "The Betrothed"--"A woman is only a woman but a good cigar is a smoke." Here's the poem if interested: www.bartleby.com/364/31.html
