Hi Nancy and Babs (and Amy, too)! I'm not sure how I want to proceed--I think I'm still somewhat in shock over the Flickr changes. I will probably keep my stuff on Flickr for the forseeable future and may continue to add things there, but I definitely want to explore alternatives like this.

Importing seems like a daunting task--I have about 2000 public images on Flickr and another 4000 or so private ones. I'd like to preserve my titles, descriptions, and tags from Flickr as much as possible. Have you ever used Bulkr to download images and data from Flickr? And how are you importing into ipernity--are you manually transferring things, or batching them in some way? Is there a batch import method that transfers titles, tags, and descriptions, too?

Thanks, Nancy! I'm playing around with the Greasemonkey scripts, and they seem to be working OK.

Thanks, Nancy! I'm still getting my bearings here, but I definitely want to look at the groups.

Thanks, Babs! Your husband's program sounds like it'll be quite useful. I haven't experimented with ipernity's bulk importer yet, so I may try that, too.
