Planet St. Sixti IR 


in Merseburg.

1045 gegründet, ist sie 1327 zur Stiftskirche erhoben worden. Der im 16. Jahrhundert begonnene Neubau des Kirchenschiffes im spätgotischen Stil wurde nicht vollendet. Seit dem 30jährigen Krieg ist St. Sixti eine Ruine. Den romanischen Turm baute man 1888/89 zum Wasserturm um.
