Some of these 14100 series has already made it out here in the west. I just wish Mack/Volvo would discontinue such an inferior engine they install in these. On flat ground these are okay, but on mountain passes these are the worst!! Not very smooth riding too! If you like a rough ride, this is perfect for that!

An old 2009 Sterling or any Freightliner Cascadia is far superior than these tractors ever hope to be. They're shiny though, I have to say that at least.

What I've seen, is these are equipped with dinky engines, basically a city truck with huge fuel tanks. It's a shame ABF doesn't know how to order the right truck for the job..

Yeah that is a shame, I really think they'd benefit with the 13-liter MP8, which is available up to 505hp. I know of plenty of guys who run the MP8 in a variety of applications and have no power complaints. The 11-liter MP7 just seems to small of a engine to handle triples, it's only available up to 405hp, depending on programming.
